Change does not have to be hard IF…

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Whether you feel like you’re forced to make a change, or, your heart is telling you it’s time for a change, there is NO DOUBT that change is in the air. Yes, change is in the air you and I are breathing – the air that we need for survival. There is no escaping from it.

I know many of you are going through tough transitions right now. I also know some of you are feeling restless, anxious and know in your heart of hearts that you NEED to make a change. You feel excited and eager for a change, but also nervous about the unknown and unsure of yourself. Do you resonate with this?

The question is not whether/when there is change in your life. The question is, “How well are you coping with change?”

And, when it’s time for you to take a leap of faith, do you have the COURAGE and CONFIDENCE to do so?

If your answer is not a resounding YES, then you need to take advantage of the new program I’m offering.

If you missed the Navigating Change with Grace and Ease Teleseminar where I shared how to tap into the energy of the Water Dragon and the 4 C’s you need to thrive in 2012, you can listen to the recording on that page too.

Here’s the thing, as with everything in life, you can do it the hard way, or you can do it the easy way. Change does NOT have to be hard **IF** you have the right mindset, the right how-to and the right support.

It IS possible to allow more grace, ease and peace of mind, even in the toughest transition or the most tragic moment. It IS possible to preserve your self-esteem and self-confidence even after a huge setback or failure. It IS possible to bounce back and reinvent yourself over and over. It IS possible to finally let go of the past and move forward.

There are very specific INNER and OUTER action steps you must take, in order to thrive in change with more grace and ease. I’d like to teach you how to do that. Your job is to make a CHOICE to accept my support.

Join Navigating Change with Grace and Ease Program Today

In this intimate *interactive & experiential* group program you will learn:

Take the L.E.A.P. — my proprietary 4 step process to help you take the leap of faith and thrive

Kwan Yin’s W.A.V.E. Formula for abundance manifestation (Kwan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion in Chinese Buddhism)

–Specific Mindset Shifts you must make to thrive in change, allow grace, attract abundance and success

4 C’s for Thriving in Change — processes to cultivate Clarity, Courage, Confidence, Commitment

–Emotional Healing Techniques that are based on ancient wisdom, modern neuroscience research and cutting edge healing technology — help you let go past emotional traumas and dramas, overcome fears and anxiety, release self-limiting beliefs, and become aligned & congruent for success

Daily Energy Management Techniques – to stay centered & balanced, protect your bio-energetic field so you won’t be drained by toxic people and toxic energy in the environment

Grounding techniques I’ve used to help me win 10 gold medals in state, regional and international martial arts championships.

I’m designing the program to be interactive and experiential, because I know first hand — through 24 years of helping others go through all kinds of challenges and difficult transitions, as well as my own share of challenges — how critical it is to tackle BOTH external and internal barriers, to make the changes from the inside out, and to be congruent and aligned with who you are (not just what you do, or what you say you want). Merely understanding the theory or taking the external actions WITHOUT making the internal changes will set yourself up for more struggles and suffering. Furthermore, you’ll end up repeating the same negative pattern over and over.

It’s just as important to release the past emotional traumas and self-defeating beliefs as it is to work on practical action steps. In fact, I’m convinced that if you want to uplevel your success, you MUST work on uplevel your self FIRST. Sometimes you are required to reinvent yourself personally and/or professionally, which I have done successfully many times myself and I can help you do the same.

There are several great bonuses when you sign up for the program. And, I have decided to extend the Special Early Bird Tuition Monday May 28, so you have more time to listen to the recording and sign up for the program.

Navigate Change with Grace and Ease

2012 is the Year of the Water Dragon, which occurs every 60 years. From a Feng Shui standpoint, the year of the Water Dragon brings many possibilities for good fortune. In Chinese 5 elements theory, water produces wood, which signifies growth and is the natural element of the dragon. Dragons are the most powerful mystical creatures in the Chinese culture, and legend has it that the emperor that rules the 7 seas is the dragon. In Chinese legend, dragons are shape-shifters, and water shares the same shape-shifting property. Water Dragon personifies creativity at its best.

So, you can imagine, the year of the Water Dragon is a powerful year of transformation and there’s no coincidence that 2012 is the Year of the Water Dragon.

What does this all mean to you? Great shifts are on the horizon and there’s no escaping from it. If you think last year was tough with a lot of shifts, changes and break-downs, this year will be even more intense! Buckle up and prepare for an exciting ride!

Are You Frozen in Fear in the Face of Change?

Lately it seems like everyone I talk to is facing some kind of change or transition. According to Buddha, “The only constant in life is change.” Change is a part of life and there’s NO escaping from it. You’d think that we should be really great at it with all the “practices” we’ve had in our lives, career/business, relationships, health etc. However, most people are really inept in coping with change.

Instead of feeling excited and confident about change, most people are stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, fearful, stuck in analysis paralysis, second-guessing themselves, worried excessively and about to snap. Some admit they are frozen in fear, like they are standing (or HANGING) at the edge of a cliff, and any mis-step could result in a horrible death. They just stand there, unable to breathe, unable to move. Can you relate to this?

I know that feeling so well because I’ve been there many times. Now, I have thrived in many dramatic changes in my life, such as moving from Asia to the U.S. in my twenties (speaking little English and knowing almost no one); thriving in many industries (ranging from nursing, counseling, consulting, coaching, education, nonprofit management, freelance, small business & sales etc); living in 4 states in 6 calendar years with two babies in tow; coping with my husband’s job loss when he was the sole bread-winner and we had a house and 2 kids under age 4; winning Black Belt and 10 gold medals in my 30s and 40s despite injuries and fears; recovering from various illnesses and surgeries…

You get the picture. I’ve been through A LOT of changes, I’ve had to start over many times, and I’m REALLY good at thriving in change. In addition, I’ve had 24 years of experience in nursing, counseling and coaching, where I’ve helped people going through all sorts of challenges and difficult changes in their lives, such as job loss, cancer, death of loved ones, divorce, financial crisis, depression, suicide, etc. You name it, I’ve seen it all.

Even so, I’m not immune to fear. In fact, I’ve had many frozen-in-fear, on-my-knees moments.

When you are faced with change, you need to think clearly, make the right decisions, and take swift actions. However, when fear grabs you by your throat and your emotions hijack your mind, all you can see is worse-case scenarios. Like the cliff-hanger, you try to hang on to what you think is safe with a death grip (pun intended), not knowing what you perceive to be safe (i.e. hanging on to the cliff) might ultimately lead to your demise.

I was reminded of this lesson recently when I almost turned down perhaps the greatest opportunity for my business. I was extremely anxious about the risks involved, what would other people think, what if I made a mistake and failed, etc. UNTIL my coach reminded me to focus on the opportunities, not the risks. It’s like a boulder lifted off my chest and I can finally breathe and seize the opportunity. When you are frozen in fear, you need someone who can see objectively point out the right direction for you. A professional coach such as myself can do that.

As the famous quote by John Burroughs goes, “Leap and the net will appear.” Learn to trust yourself and have faith in the Universe. When you leap in faith, the net will appear, or you might realize you’ve been wearing a parachute on your back all along. But, you’ll never know until you take the leap.

If you are too afraid to take a giant leap of faith right now, take a baby step instead. Any action is better than staying stuck. Remember the cliff-hanger — the longer you wait, you’ll have less options and more risks. So, make a DECISION and take ACTION now. What’s one baby step you can take today?
