Dragon, Second Chance and One Decision

Happy Chinese New Year!! As I was reflecting last night, my heart was filled with JOY and gratitude for all the LOVE and riches in my life. My family enjoyed a great Chinese New Year’s Eve dinner together, and we called our parents, in-laws and relatives in Taiwan to wish them Happy Chinese New Year. What an amazing year 2011 has been, and I know I have so much to look forward to in 2012!!

Actually, we ALL do.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve had lots of triumphs or rock bottom defeats last year, you’ve been given a second chance today to start anew. It doesn’t matter if you have not started your 2012 on the right track, or, you might be falling off the wagon in terms of your New Year’s Resolutions. You’ve been given a second chance today.

Why? You see, today is Chinese New Year’s Day, the beginning of Year 4710. And it’s not just any Chinese New Year, either. This is the Year of the Dragon, one of the most powerful in the Chinese Zodiac. This is one of the reasons I LOVE my culture, because Chinese New Year always comes after the “regular” New Year. If I were to have any chance at success or happiness, I must learn to believe in myself and do it MY WAY.

That ONE DECISION saved my life and turned my life around.
